This extended private session with Annelise Stern is for artists whose next step involves several connected decisions. Your positioning, portfolio, pricing and communication rarely operate in isolation. The intensive gives us time to examine those connections and build a direction that is both coherent and practical. NANA brings an independent perspective on the contemporary art world, informed by the relationship between cultural relevance and market development. The aim is to make your practice more legible to the right people while protecting the ambition and specificity of the work. WHO IT IS FOR Artists preparing a professional transition, revisiting their portfolio, developing an exhibition or collaboration proposal, or aligning their artistic identity with their outreach and commercial approach. It also suits those who want to explore a complex issue in greater depth than a single hour allows. WHAT WE CAN WORK ON Depending on your priorities, we can connect a portfolio review with your artist statement, examine pricing alongside collector development, or consider gallery outreach as part of a broader career strategy. We agree on the most useful focus rather than trying to cover every possible topic. BEFORE THE SESSION A short questionnaire establishes your context, objectives and current obstacles. Set aside around ten minutes to articulate what you want to resolve so Annelise can prepare for a substantive conversation. DURING THE SESSION We meet remotely for 120 minutes. We begin with a diagnosis, examine the material and choices relevant to your objectives, and work towards a set of priorities. The additional time allows us to question an initial direction, refine it and consider how it translates into action. AFTER THE SESSION You receive a written recap bringing together the decisions, next steps and useful resources discussed. The emphasis is on actions you can carry forward in your own practice.
