BIOGRAPHY

Louis Dazy is a French visual artist working at the intersection of photography, moving image and digital manipulation. Over more than fifteen years, he's built a practice rooted in experimentation, atmosphere, and turning images into immersive visual experiences.

For the past five years, Dazy has been continuously active in the Web3 ecosystem, building a global audience while keeping a consistent, evolving artistic identity across platforms. His work has recently been shown internationally in Paris, Lisbon, Tokyo, Seoul.

NANA begins working with Louis in September 2026, betting on an artist whose practice already moves fluently between the physical and the digital, exactly the intersection NANA is built to read.

PHOTOGRAPHY

His art captures cinematic stills from a film that was never made, where emotions linger like neon reflections on rain-slicked streets.

Influenced by the aesthetics of the 1950s and 1980s, his imagery is drenched in red, a color that pulses with passion, mystery, and longing. At the heart of his compositions, a portrait often emerges: a woman lost in thought, wrapped in an atmosphere of melancholy or introspection. These figures exist within layered compositions, where reflections distort time, and different stories intertwine within the same frame.

Dazy is drawn to duality: past and present, light and shadow, seen and unseen. His images frequently evoke the sensation of looking through a window into something intimate yet unreachable, a world suspended between reality and illusion.

DIGITAL ART

Anatomy of Interference explores the human body as a field of signals. Flesh, memory and data collapse into one unstable surface.

Each image dissects a moment where perception fails: the body fragmented by interference, suspended between presence and disappearance. Selected works are paired with framed acrylic paintings, Dazy's first, extending the series from screen into material space.

Just as Dazy’s photographs allow us to live vicariously through him, he also uses his photography as a means of exploring the idea of impulsively living in the moment. He consciously ignores societies perceived expectations and allows himself to feel instead of being stuck in a continuous cycle of decision paralysis.

"When I am photographing I don’t process my thoughts much: my head’s just a train of constant ideas and feelings. I feel, I don’t think almost at all. When I have to make a decision about what to capture I don’t put a pros and cons list in my head. I just sit down, dive into my head and ask myself does it feel right? I believe I rely a lot on intuition."
